For some time I had been noticing that Henry behaved in a way that was uncharacteristic of his nature. It was a small but consistent change and I started to think that it was his “new normal”.

However, after attending a presentation with Karen where she explained and educated us about nutrition for horses and how the ingredients affect them, I realized that Henry’s behavior had everything to do with his feed.

So, I decided I would change his feed to the whole food diet which is much lower in starches. Within a few days, I began to see the changes  in him! He was no longer acting as if he had ADD. His demeanor changed and it became consistent with his attitude. But I got so much more than I had bargained for! His body shape became more lean and his feet became strong and healthy. Now his coat is soft and shiny and he has dapples all over!

Henry absolutely thrives on the food and he totally loves it!
